Satellites Not Updated in Server Database
If the status column on the TracNet interface does not show the
satellites that you programmed into the TracVision antenna, you
need to update the satellite configuration in the server’s
database. To update the server’s database, follow the steps below.
1. At the TracNet screen, select
Configuration
from
the Navigation bar.
2. At the Configuration page, go to “Update Installed
Satellites.”

3. Click the
Update

TracVision Antenna Not Set to Correct GPS Position
(Not applicable to TracVision G8)
If the TracVision antenna’s GPS
position is not set to within 750 kilometers of your current
location, you need to update the antenna’s GPS position via the
TracNet system. This will ensure that the TracVision antenna can
quickly find and track the broadband satellite.
To update the TracVision antenna’s GPS position, follow the steps
below.
1. At the TracNet screen, select
Configuration
from
the Navigation bar.
2. At the Configuration page, go to “Update TV
Antenna GPS Setting.”

To ensure fast satellite acquisition,
update the TracVision antenna’s
GPS position whenever you travel
more than 750 kilometers.
