2. Select a service for your TracNet session.
Select
Narrowband
if you wish to use the Fleet
MPDS or GPRS link for both sending and
receiving Internet data
(the TracVision antenna
continues to track the current satellite)
. Select
Broadband
if you wish to use the TracVision
antenna for high-speed Internet downloads
(the
TracVision antenna tracks the broadband satellite)
.
3. If you selected the broadband service, use the
master satellite TV receiver’s (IRD’s) remote
control to select any TV channel on the broadband
satellite.
If you are using a multiswitch between the
TracVision antenna and your receiver(s), disregard this
step.
4. Click the
Connect
button.
A new status window shows the connection
progress.
Once you are successfully connected to
the Internet, the TracNet screen shows “Your
modem is currently connected to the Internet.”
