Adjusting lift arms Crossbar
• Swing the lower link crossbar
to the side or remove the
lower link crossbar.
• Bring the lift arms on the
same height

Stabiliser chains Checking the PTO shaft length
• Tighten the tractor's
stabilizer chains.
• Because of the increase in
weight, it is recommended
that the tractor's left-hand
stabilizer chain is tightened
up more than usual, so
that the machine is pulled
as tight as possible to the
tractor.
• Pull the PTO shaft apart.
• Fit one half on the tractor's PTO
outlet.
• Fit the other half on the machine's
PTO input shaft.
• Position the two halves of the shaft
side by side and:
• Check that the halves of the shaft
have a minimum overlap of 200 mm
(8”) [b].
• Check that the PTO shaft has a min.
clearance of 20 mm (7/8”) [a].
• Shorten both profile tubes and the
protective tube by the same amount.
• Deburr the ends of both profile tubes.
• Clean any metal shavings or similar
from the profile tubes.
• Grease the sliding surfaces of the
profile tubes thoroughly.
• Fit and connect the two halves of the
shaft.
