The machine is operated in the
following way:
•
Remove the pin from the lock
device.
• Check that the lock device is
free of the lock catch on the
machine's hydraulic cylinder.
• Activate the tractor's
hydraulics to activate the
lifting cylinder of the mowing
unit, raise the cutting unit up
and turn at the headland.
• Activate the tractor hydraulics
and lower the machine.
• Activate the tractor's hydraulic
system and lower the
machine down to the working
position.
• Check that all guards on the
machine are correctly
positioned.
• Disconnect the tractor's PTO
outlet.
• Carefully increase the speed
on the tractor's P.T.O. shaft to
540 RPM.
• Activate the tractor's lift arms
and lower the machine down
to the fixed working height.
• Find a suitable speed on the
tractor and start to mow.
Grass can be mown upwards on
a slope up till 45º, where the
tractor is running on a horizontal
plane, in the following way:
•
Pull in the nylon string and
release the lock catch.
• Activate the tractor's hydraulic
system and tilt the cutter bar
up with the hydraulic cylinder.
• Release the nylon string.
Grass can be mown downwards
on a slope in the following way:
•
Activate the tractor's hydraulic
system and tilt the cutter bar
down with the hydraulic
cylinder. The cutter bar can be
tilted down to a maximum of
45º from horizontal.
