Springs for balancing the
cutting unit
The V belt transmission is checked
in the following way after the first
10 working hours and thereafter,
every 40 hours of use:
•
Remove the bolts and remove
the guard.
• Check that the V-belts can be
depressed by approx. 15 mm
(19/32'') between the V-belt
pulleys as shown.
• Tighten the bolts.
• Fit the guard.
The V-belts are tightened in the
following way:
•
Loosen the bolts.
• Tighten the nut until the V-
belts are correctly tightened.
Check that the V-belts can be
depressed by approx. 15 mm
(19/32”) between the V-belt
pulleys as shown.
Note; The machine's spring must
not be detached, under any
circumstances. If an attempt to
detach it is made, large amounts
of energy which are stored in the
spring will be suddenly released
and can cause serious injuries or
death. Only authorized persons
may detach this component.
