8.2.3 Ground pressure adjustment of the side
pick-ups
The ground pressure is obtained using the 4 springs
per pick-up.
By modifying the spring length, the pick-up ground
pressure varies.
The pressure must be adapted to the nature and
moisture degree of the ground.
- Park the machine on an even fairly level ground:
• All pick-ups must rest on the ground.

Ground pressure increase (a)
- Loosen the check nut (1).
- Turn screw (2) counterclockwise to increase the
ground pressure.
- Tighten the counter nut (1).

Ground pressure reduction (b)
- Loosen the check nut (1).
- Turn the screw (2) clockwise to reduce the ground
pressure.
- Tighten the counter nut (1).
