10.4.4 Step up gearbox oil level
- Regurlarly check the step up gearbox oil level.
From the working position:
- Adjust the height of the lift linkage until the gearbox
is horizontal.
- Unscrew filler plug extension (1).
- Check through opening that oil height correxponds
to a value (h) comprised between 170 and 180 mm
(6.7’’ - 7.1’’).
- Top up if necessary.
- Clean and tighten the filler plug extension (1).
If in doubt as to the oil quantity contained in
the step up gearbox, fully drain and refill step
up gearbox respecting recommended oil
quantity and quality.
