10.4 Maintenance
10.4.1 The belt tension
- Before leaving the tractor or before
adjusting, maintaining or repairing the
machine, disengage the PTO drive, turn off
the engine, remove ignition key and wait
until all moving parts have come to a
complete stop and apply park brake.
- Regularly check belt tension (Check when
it is cold).
The conveyor belts stretch during their first hours
of use.
The conveyor belt tension must be checked:
• After the first 20 hours of use.
• Every 200 hours or once a year.
• After any maintenance or repair on the conveyor.
Tension adjustment procedures are identical
for all 2 conveyors.
