13  Axle load calculation 

 

IMPORTANT 

 

Overload danger 

 

When fitting front or rear mounted implements, the total permissible weight, axle lo-
ading and tyre loads of the tractor must not be exceeded.  The front axle must exert 
a ground load of at least 20% of the unloaded weight of the tractor. 

To judge if axle loadings are correct, use the following calculation methods or 
weigh the tractor/implement combination before using any implement.
