9.3 Replacing the main vane or the complete vane assembly

1. Unscrew the self-locking disc vane leaf spring retaining nut (3) using a 13 mm open ended span-

ner.

WARNING

Injury hazard due to spring-loaded elements

The leaf spring is under tension and can eject violently. Follow the instructions below
carefully.

•

When removing the leaf spring, stand as far away as possible.

•

Do not remove in the direction of your body.

•

Do not bend directly over the leaf spring.

2. Remove the leaf spring (4), with the help of a screwdriver or the assembly lever, in the direction of

the white arrow below.
