5.  Bolt the new extension vane (7) with the main vane (6) onto the spreading disc using 

new

 bolt (5) 

new

 self-locking nut (8) and 

new

 washer (12).  (Before assembly, smear all bolt threads (M8 and 

greater) with anti-seizure paste!) 

6.  Tighten the bolt so that it lies flat and secure with the spreading disc. 
7.  To allow the extension vane to be easily adjusted, release the bolt by approx. half a turn.  
 
 

The bolt must only be released enough to allow extension vane adjustment, but ensuring at the 
same time that it lies securely on the main vane.  Retighten after adjustment is completed.

The leaf spring is under tension and can eject violently.  Follow the instructions below 
carefully.

  When removing the leaf spring, stand as far away as possible.
