4. Always remember to select
Save Configuration
to save your settings. Otherwise, your
settings will be lost when the JetNet is powered off.
5. Repeat step 1 to 4 to set up the second switch (the settings for the second switch are the
same).
6. Since the settings for the second switch are exactly the same as the first one, you can use
Configuration Backup function to copy the first switch’s settings and restore them to the
second switch. This will reduce the time required to set up the second switch. Refer to
Configuration Backup section for more information.
IP Configuration
This function allows users to configure the JetNet’s IP address settings.
DHCP Client
: You can select to
Enable
or
Disable
the DHCP Client function. When the DHCP
Client function is enabled, an IP address will be assigned to the JetNet from the network’s DHCP
server. In this mode, the default IP address will therefore be replaced by the one assigned by the
DHCP server. If the DHCP Client is disabled, then the IP address that you specify will be used
instead.
