SAFETY MAINTENANCE INFORMATION

STOP ENGINE BEFORE CARRYING OUT MAINTENANCE

Stop the machine on a solid and flat surface

Turn the ignition switch to OFF, wait approximately one
minute, then turn battery main switch to OFF and remove
it.

Select a place where there is no hazard of landslides,
falling rocks, or flooding.

Lower the work equipment and blade completely to the
ground.

When leaving the machine, set lock lever (1) to the LOCK
position (L), then stop the engine.

Engage the safety lock of the boom swing control.

Put blocks under the track to prevent the machine from
moving.

If maintenance is necessary with the engine running, see "MAINTENANCE WITH ENGINE RUNNING (2-52)".
