CLEANING THE AIR CONDITIONER FILTERS 4
WARNING

When compressed air is used to clean the filter, dust may get into the eyes. Wear safety goggles and a
dust mask during the cleaning operations.
q
Before cleaning the fresh or recirculation air filter, always check that the sliding door is locked in
closed or open position. If the sliding door is not locked, there is risk that your fingers may get stuck
or the door breaks.
NOTICE

If the machine is used in particularly dusty places, shorten the maintenance intervals and clean the
filter more frequently.

When washing the floor, take care to avoid wetting the filtering element.
Recirculation air filter cleaning
1. Open the door (1) placed under the operator's seat.
2. Extract the inner filter (2).
3. Clean the inner filter (2) with compressed air. If there is oil
on the filter or if it is very dirty, wash it with a neutral
detergent. After washing the filter, dry it completely before
use.
NOTICE
If the filtering element is excessively clogged or damaged,
change it with a new one.
4. Install the clean filter (2) and close the door (1).
Cleaning the external air filter
1. Use the starter key to unlock the door (1) of the rear left
part of the cab, manually open the door (1), fix it in position
with the appropriate rod (3) and remove the filter (2).
2. Clean the filter with compressed air. If the filter is wet with
oil or extremely dirty, clean it with a neutral solution. After
having rinsed the filter with water, dry it accurately before
use.

Replace the filter every year. If compressed air or washing
is not enough to clean the filter, replace it immediately.
3. After cleaning the filter (2), refit it, remove the door locking
rod (3) and close the door. Close the door with the starter
key. After having closed the door, do not forget to remove
the starter key.
REMARK
The fresh air filter should be installed in the correct direction.
First insert the longer section (L) of filter (2). If the narrower
section is inserted first (S), the door (1) does not close.
