STOPPING THE ENGINE

NOTICE

q

The engine stop under stress shortens the useful life.

q

Do not stop the engine under stress, unless in emergency cases. Do not stop the engine suddenly,
except in case of emergency. It is likewise recommended not to stop the engine suddenly if it has
been running for a long period and is still hot; in this case, let the engine run at low idling speed for
about 5 minutes, in order to allow it to cool down gradually before stopping it.

1.

Run the engine at low idling speed for about 5 minutes, in
order to allow it to cool down gradually.

2.

Turn the ignition key (1) to position OFF to stop the engine.

3.

Remove the key (1).
