WARNING
Before moving the machine onto the trailer, make sure that the
trailer and ramp are free from oil, grease and ice. Remove oil,
grease and ice from the machine tyres. Make sure the machine will not foul on the
ramp angle. See Static Dimensions in SPECIFICATION section for the minimum
ground clearance of your machine.
Note:
Avoid sudden acceleration and deceleration of the unit when loading and
unloading the unit to avoid the machine tipping backward.
The ramp should be long enough that the angles between the truck or trailer do not
cause the machine components to catch when moving from ramp to truck or trailer.
If loading on or near a slope, position the truck or trailer on the down side of the
slope and the ramps should extend up the slope. This will minimize the ramp angle.
The trailer or truck should be parked as level as possible to facilitate smooth loading
of the machine.
Transporting the Machine
Use a heavy duty trailer or truck to transport the machine. Make sure the trailer or
truck has all of the necessary lighting and markings as required by law.
When transporting the machine, make sure the three point linkage is raised, the
park brake is applied, the wheels have been blocked, the machine has been securely
fastened by cables, chains or ropes, and the trailer has been secured to the towing
vehicle with safety chains.
Driving on a public street or roadway without turn signals, slow moving vehicle
emblem, or reflective markings could lead to accidents causing serious personal
injury or death.
Storage
Preparation for storage
The operations to place a machine into storage (-15°C to 44°C) are given below.
Note:
It is important to clean the undercarriage after working on muddy ground to
prevent the build up of solidified grass affecting the moving parts.
1.
Disconnect battery to prevent discharge.
2.
Ensure the fuel tank is filled to a maximum, leaving no air space.
Preparation after Storage
Prepare the machine for use after storage (-15°C to 44°C) as follows:.
1.
Lower the fuel level to ensure that sufficient air space exists in the tank.
2.
Check all oil levels, adjust contents to correct levels as necessary. Ensure the
battery is fully charged. Reconnect battery. Start the engine. If the engine fails
to start after several attempts, bleed the fuel system. Grease all lubrication
points.
