Adjusting the Lower Link
Adjustment of the lower link A is achieved
with the adjusting handle B on the yoke rod.
To shorten or lengthen the yoke rod, turn the
adjusting handle in the required direction.
When the correct adjustment is achieved,
secure the turn buckle with the stopper
provided.
Adjusting the Yoke Rod on the Lower Link
The position of the yoke rod A on the
lower link B must be adjusted for
different applications.
After adjustment of the yoke rod,
ensure the pin is inserted from
the wheel side.
Attaching Implements
Ensure that when attaching implements, this is carried out on flat ground. Ensure that
personnel do not get between the implement and machine.
After attaching an implement, ensure that all check chains are correctly adjusted and
where PTO shafts are used, they are fitted and secured correctly.
Where heavy implements are used, ensure that the combination is well balanced.
To attach an implement:
1.
If the PTO is to be used, remove the safety cover from the PTO shaft.
2.
Adjust the yoke rods on the lower links as necessary for the implement to be
used.
3.
Attach the left lower link then attach the right lower link using the adjusting
handle on the levelling box if required.
4.
Attach the top link.
5.
If using the PTO, attach the implement PTO shaft to the machine, making sure
that it is locked in place.
6.
Adjust the telescopic stabilizer as necessary for the implement to be used.
