Using N2825A Probe Heads

To Identify the R

SENSE

Resistance Using an ID Resistor

N2820/1A User’s Guide

On InfiniiVision oscilloscopes,

Press the front-panel channel key that is associated with the

probe’s primary input.

Click the

Probe

softkey.

Press the

R-Sense

softkey and enter the resistance of the

SENSE

resistor that you are using.

For future reference, mark your different N2825A heads using a

marker pen or tape and record the information in

Table 7

page 60. In the table’s fourth column, record the name that you

entered in the Probe Configuration dialog box.

NOTE

Remember to mark your different N2825A heads, using a marker pen or

tape, so that you can distinguish between them.
