The calibration information is saved on the chassis controller, so it needs to be run
just once for each combination. However, if you change anything about the
multiple module setup, you should re-run the program.
Step 2: Set Up the Slave Modules
For each slave module in the multiple-oscilloscope system:

Choose
Main Menu > Trigger > PXI Trigger Menu
.

In the PXI Trigger Menu, click the
PXI Trigger Mode
softkey button, and select
Slave
.

Click the
Trigger Line
softkey, and select the PXI_TRIG line (0-7) to be used for
the multi-module trigger signal.
The master module and all slave modules must select the same trigger line.
If the modules are in different chassis trigger bus segments (which are isolated
by default), you must use the chassis Soft Front Panel (SFP) application to
connect the selected PXI_TRIG line between trigger bus segments. See
(When Necessary) Connect Chassis Bus Segments"

Click the
Arm Line
softkey to select the PXI_TRIG line (0-7) to be used for the
slave module's arm signal.
Each slave module must use a different PXI_TRIG line for its arm signal.
If the modules are in different chassis trigger bus segments (which are isolated
by default), you must use the chassis Soft Front Panel (SFP) application to
connect the selected PXI_TRIG line between trigger bus segments. See
(When Necessary) Connect Chassis Bus Segments"
NOTE
Because calibration factors are saved per master/slave/trigger line combination, you could
run the KtScopeCal.exe program for every possible combination of master and slave modules
that would ever be used, not just the combination you are planning to use next.
