Multidecryption
On
Several channels are decrypted simultaneously, if this is
supported by the CI module: When recording an encrypted
channel, other encrypted channels can be viewed in
unencrypted format

. How many encrypted channels can
be viewed will depend on the CI module used.
This function is optimised for
AlphaCrypt modules and may
lead to malfunctions with other modules.
Off
Only one channel is decrypted. When recording an
encrypted channel in unencrypted format, no other
encrypted channels can be viewed in unencrypted format

.
Automatic decryption
in standby
On
Programmes recorded in encrypted format are decrypted
in standby mode automatically

. Manual decryption is not
necessary.
Off
Programmes recorded in encrypted format have to be
decrypted manually in standby via the recording archive
(

).

Precondition: The other encrypted channels are transmitted on the same transponder and can be
decrypted with the same CI module.

Precondition: The CI module and smart card are located in a Common Interface (CI)
insert position.

Push the CI module, with the top facing up, without force into the CI insert position

How to remove the CI module from the CI insert position
1. Press the button to eject CI modules on the receiver.
2. Pull the ejected module straight out of the CI insert position.
