EPG Grabbing
gracenote Service
s: EPG data is grabbed from Gracenote auto-
matically at the EPG grabbing time.
DVB-SI
: EPG data is grabbed from the programme provider
automatically at the EPG grabbing time.
Off
: EPG data is not grabbed automatically.
EPG Grabbing Time
Time when the receiver updates the EPG data. The following
applies:
●
The receiver is not available to play back programmes/
recordings and so on during the update. The EPG Grab-
bing Time should therefore be set during the night
●
The update can take up to 45 minutes
●
The receiver must be in standby in order for the update to
start. After updating, the receiver switches back to standby
●
If recordings are planned during the update period, the
update is shifted automatically
Pre-Recording Time
TV recordings start earlier than indicated in the EPG, by this
many minutes. This provides contingency for minor variations
in transmission times.
Post-Recording Time
TV recordings stop later than indicated in the EPG, by this
many minutes. This provides contingency for minor variations
in transmission times.
