13.1
Draining the fresh water tank
●
Drain the fresh water tank (see section 5.6
●
Clean and disinfect, if possible.
13.2
Draining the cold and hot water
●

●
Switch off the fresh water pump for this, turn all outlets (mixer taps) to the central open position
and place the shower hose downwards. Once the water has drained, switch on the fresh water
pump again for 20 seconds while flushing the toilet. This ensures that no water remains in the
system. Switch off the fresh water pump.

If necessary, clean and empty the traps in the bathroom and kitchen.
13.3
Draining the heating boiler
Drain the heating boiler. (See item 5.11

Draining the waste holding tank
Environmental contamination due to inexpert disposal
Only dispose of waste water at the waste disposal points provided specifically for this
purpose.
Note:
The drain valves of the fresh water tank and waste water tank as well as the toilet
slide valve should remain open while the vehicle is laid up to enable air circulation and
prevent odours from forming.
13.5
Closing the gas system
●
Close the safety valve on the gas cylinder.
●
Lock the gas cylinder compartment.
13.6
Electrical system
●
Check the state of charge of the starter battery B1 on the control panel. If necessary, charge with
the established 240 V connection over a period of 24 hours.
●
Check the state of charge of living room battery B2 and, if necessary, charge it with the battery
charger in the vehicle. (This is only possible if the vehicle is connected to the 230 V power supply,
see “Charging the living room battery B2“.)
