3.4 Water Treatment
Connect the system as described under Section 3.2. The working
steps must be strictly adhered to and carried out consecutively.
WARNING The equipment may only be operated by qualified
or trained staff. Operating errors can cause dam-
age to the system and impure drinking water!
Only use the instructions supplied in short form once this manual has
been read.
Before putting into operation, carry out the following checks:
• Using the operating log (see Appendices) check the last entries on
the operational procedure.
• Carry out a visual check of the system for leakages and damage.
3.4.1 Putting into Operation
3.4.1.1 Inserting the Filter Bag in the Preliminary Filter
1. For relieving the pressure in the preliminary filters briefly open
the relief cocks (37/1); place a suitable collecting container under-
neath.
2. Loosen each of the three winged nuts (37/2) on the respective lid
(37/3) of both of the preliminary filters and remove the lid.

3. Remove the supporting basket with pressure plate (37/5) by the
handle (37/4).
4. Remove the pressure plate and, if necessary, take out the old fil-
ter bag from the supporting basket.
5. Insert a new filter bag in the supporting basket.
WARNING The sealing ring of the filter bag must lie completely
inside the sealing groove of the supporting basket.
6. Assemble in the reverse sequence.
