3.6.1 ZF Braking Step Lever (Bremsomatic)
BREMSOMATIC = constant speed during downhill travel
•
Set and maintain the velocity:
Engagement of step
B
= Bremsomatic activated.
The current travel speed is now saved to the electronics
and maintained during downhill travel.
During Bremsomatic operation, the required brake torque
is set automatically in a continuously variable manner.
The Bremsomatic function is only working in step
B
.
NOTE
If the braking step lever is, after engagement of the
constant braking step operation, set back into position
B
,
then the automatic speed control becomes effective with
the
current
speed.
•
Deleting the Bremsomatic function:
Set braking step lever either
- to position
0
or
- to position
1-4
(= constant braking step operation).
•
Change the velocity and save the new value:
Change the speed by actuating
- the accelerator pedal, or
- the brake pedal, or
- the engine brake,
and the
new
speed will be automatically saved.
