Key Concepts

Alarm Logs

The ACT2 controller stores the last 20 alarms. Alarms can be
downloaded to the local computer and viewed by Maestro two ways:
Alarms may be manually retrieved by dialing a site and downloading
the alarm log, or they may be automatically retrieved by setting the
computer and Maestro to wait for alarms. Manually retrieving alarm
logs creates a file in the site directory containing the latest downloaded
alarms. When the Maestro is in the Wait for Alarms mode, it creates
one file per day, which records all alarms from every site that has
dialed an alarm. This file is stored in the Maestro folder, and is named
according to the date the alarms were received.
