Programming the ACT2 Controller Using the Maestro Software Interface

Maestro Software Shortcut Buttons

Print Button:

This button is used to print Alarms and Logs.

When screens that are not printable are being viewed, this
button is unavailable.

Direct Connection Button:

This button is used to initiate a

direct connection to the site shown in the scroll box at the right.

Online Connection Button:

This button is used to initiate an

online connection to the site shown in the scroll box at the right.

Offline Connection Button:

This button is used to view and

modify parameters for the site shown in the pull-down list at the
right, but without initiating a connection to that site. Changes
made with an offline connection are stored on the computer’s
hard drive only.

Disconnect Button:

This button is used to terminate any type

of connection. Terminating a connection with this button also
saves any changes that were made during that session.

Alarm Button:

The alarm button sets the Maestro software to

wait for alarms from sites that may dial-in to this connection.

Scroll Box:

The scroll box is used to select which site will be

connected to. When connected to a site, this box displays the
unit that is currently connected.

Unit Selection Button:

Clicking on this button will open the

Select Unit

dialog box. Clicking on a unit to the right of the

Unit Selection Button

will select that unit for viewing or

editing.

HVAC Button:

Displays the HVAC status and setup screens

for the currently selected site and unit.

I/O Screens Button:

Displays the general input and output

status and setup screens for the currently selected site and unit.

Condensing Unit Button:

Displays the refrigeration status and

setup screens for the currently selected site and unit.

Alarms Button:

Retrieves and displays the alarm logs for the

currently selected site and unit.
