The new Logical volume size is available immediately upon committing the
change. You will see the new size reflected next to the Logical Volume icon (see

). The host side will require a rescan the Fibre bus for host(s) to realize

the new size. It may take a minute or two and several rescans for the new size to
be realized by mapped hosts. The slight difference of the size allows for overhead
working space.
