If you do not want to use the auto background process for initializing at this time,
uncheck the box by clicking on the check mark. However, if you disable the
initialize process at this time, you will get a warning message that data will be
lost (see

Figure 67. Warning Message when Disabling the Initialize Process

When you are ready to manually initialize the array, there are two methods to
access the initialize feature. Either select the Array tab from the menu bar (see

) or select the array icon in the Logical Configuration Panel (see

) and use the guidelines below.
