The Dedicated Hot-Spare Configuration Window presents the fields you need to
assign a dedicated hot-spare. The fields are explained below.
Information box - Summary of how to assign or release a dedicated
hot-spare drive.
Device Information - Summary of the array chosen to receive a
dedicated hot-spare.
Name ComArray3, the name given when the array was created.
RAID Level
The RAID level chosen when the array was created,
RAID 5 is shown in this example.
Current Size The size of the selected array configuration that will
have a dedicated hot-spare assigned to it.
Please Select Dedicated Hot-Spares
List of available disk drives that can be used as a dedicated hot-spare,
with identifying information.
Spare - Use this column to check which drive you want to select.
Capacity - Shows the size of the selected available drive.
