HELP FUNCTIONS
By the Help Info key, on G-556 some functions of aid can be activated thoughts in
order to become simpler the ECR's using from the staff.
16.9.1 HELP CODES OF ERROR OF THE ECR

With the key in Reg. position and without receipts in course by pressing the Help Info
key, the ECR will start the printing of a receipt containing the list of all the availables
error codes with near a short description of the meaning of the same code comes
shown in the display at the error condition activation.

At the error condition activation on ECR's display will be evidenced a numerical error
code (Eg.: E180), before to remove the error condition by the pressing of the CL key,
to press the Help Info key, G-556 will print in the ECR's journal the error description
necessary to understand the error reason (Eg.: Receipt limits).
with the alphanumeric display, the same description or part of the same description
eventually printed on journal or on the errors list comes automatically visualized on the
ECR's display at error condition activation.
16.9.2 HELP CODES READINGS AND ZERO SETTINGS

In X or Z mode, to input 9999 and to press the Help Info key, the ECR will start the
printing of one receipt containing the list of all the report's codes available with near
one short description of the same report.

If on ECR the Help Display is installed (on G-556 ), it'll be possible in X or Z mode,
by the pressing of Help Info key to visualize the code and the description of the first
report available, it'll be possible also by the "Ahead line

" and "Behind line

" keys
to scroll one by one all the report availables on the ECR, to visualize the description
and the code until to arrive to the report wished and to activate it by the pressing of
the Enter key.
16.9.3 HELP INFORMATION

In P mode, to input 9999 and to press the Help Info key, the ECR will start the printing
of one receipt containing the list of all the programming codes available with near one
short description of the same programming codes.

If on ECR the Help Display is installed (on G-556), it'll be possible in P mode, by the
pressing of Help Info key to visualize the code and the description of the first
programming function available, it’ll be possible also by the "Ahead line

" and
"Behind line
ê
" keys to scroll one by one all the programming codes availables on
the ECR, to visualize the description and the code until to arrive to the programming
code wished and to activate it by the pressing of the "Enter" key.
It will be possible, by the above described procedure, to activate nearly all the
programmings modes availables on G-556, it won't be possible to activate by this
mode only those programmings that needs of a code of particular definition (Eg.:
Status System, 551 = S.S.1, 552 = S.S.2, etc...), such programmings can be
recognized because the code of the same ones are evidenced on Help Display with
one "x" in last position (Eg.: 1x Receipt's heading).
