Using CoGo
create points along the line.
The height of the created points can be calculated as an
offset from

Pressing Preview and then Create will save the points as

Pressing the Stake Now will prompt you for a name to
save an alignment and then display the alignment Stake
Now map. No points are calculated in this mode however
the station and offset of the current position will be
dynamically displayed at top of the map:
Pressing the
Create Alignment
will also prompt you for a
name to save an alignment but then you will be taken to
the Alignment Summary page where the alignment can
be further edited. Alignments are discussed in detail in the
Stake Out
section ( p. 60 ).
Stake Line
This function is similar to Divide
Line. Instead of creating the
points along the line between
P
1
& P
2
, it creates equidistant points
along a specified number (Tracks,
m) of parallel lines offset from the
original line by a Offset distance.
Stake Curve
Use this function to create a
specified number of points
(Points, n) along a curve. The
curve begins at P

(with Offset =
0) or at an Offset from

2
. It has a
radius of R (or R + Offset when an
offset is included), a delta angle of
A and is tangent to a line between P
1
& P
2
.
Arc
Arc is used to calculate all arc
parameters given any two
input parameters. The available
parameters are delta angle (

),
radius (

), arc length (

), tangent
( T ), chord ( c ), middle ordinate ( m ),
external ( e ) and curvature ( D , arc ).
