8. 3 Digital outputs
The device has 2 transistor switching
outputs that are galvanically separated from
the analysis electronics using opto couplers.
The digital outputs:
• can switch DC or AC loads.
• can switch loads depending on the supply
voltage's polarity.

CAUTION!
Transmission errors
and damage to property
due to electrical faults
If the line is longer than 30 m, there
is an increased probability of transmission
errors and damage to the device due
to atmospheric discharge.
Use a shielded cable for connection
to the digital outputs.

Damage to property due
to connection errors
The digital outputs are not short-circuit
proof! Connection errors can therefore
cause damage to the connections.
Ensure that the wiring is correct when
connecting the outputs.

CAUTION!
Measurement errors when
using as a pulse output
When using the digital outputs as pulse
outputs, measurement errors may arise due
to the residual ripple.
Therefore, use a mains adapter for
the supply voltage for the digital inputs
and outputs, which has a residual ripple
of less than 5% of the supply voltage.
