7 Operator controls
7.1 Touchscreen control
The touchscreen display is sensitive to touch and it shows some application-
specific elements like e.g. a button.
Pushing the button by finger, the system will execute the corresponding function
as provided by the application software.
Caution
Always touch one point on the touchscreen and not several points at
one time. Otherwise unintended reactions can occur.
Caution
If the touch point and the activated action are not corresponding the
touchscreen can be not calibrated and unintended reactions can
occur.
If necessary calibrate the touch using an external mouse.
If the problem is not resolved do not use the touchscreen.
Caution
The touchscreen is active even if the display shows anything (black
screen) due for example of a LCD lamp damage.
If you push the touchscreen in this condition unintended reactions can
occur.
In these following situations the touchscreen must not to be touch:
•
During booting operation and until the boot process is completed.
•
When plugging or unplugging USB devices.
Caution
The touchscreen requires only a light strength to work.
Do not push strongly on the touchscreen especially if you are using a
plastic pen.
