Beeps
The panel uses beeps to signal various system events and conditions (Table 11).
Table 11: Beeps
Function
Description
Arming/disarming
During the entry and exit delay, beeps will sound every second. The beep rate
will increase during the last 10 seconds of the entry or exit delay.
Chime
Chime can be set to bell, siren, or voice
—one or two beeps.
Property/asset
management
One beep (information displays under the Assets icon).
Trouble beeps
Six beeps, repeated every minute. Some of the more common conditions for
trouble beeps include power failures, low battery, sensor supervision, and
communication trouble with the central monitoring station.
Press the Shield icon
on the main screen to stop beeps for the current
condition for four hours. This may be set to a different duration by the
Installer. A new condition will cause more beeps. Encountering more than
one trouble condition is rare.
To permanently stop the trouble beeps from repeating, resolve the condition.
Contact the service provider for more information.
System Speech
The AdvisorOne panel speaks for various purposes: system status, alarm annunciation,
and voice chime. The AdvisorOne panel can speak and display different languages
based on the user language configuration. A Master User can set English, Spanish,
French, or Portuguese as the default language for each user on the system.
Chime
The chime feature is used to signal when a monitored sensor is opened while the
system is disarmed. This feature provides notification with voice, with a single chime, or
with two chimes when enter or exit sensor is activated. Turn the chime feature on or off
in the General Settings screen. The chime volume can also be adjusted in the Sound
Settings screen. For more information, see Sound Settings.
