Arming errors
If the system detects an arming problem, an error message screen will appear
(Figure 20), indicating what the problem is and how to correct it. For example, a
message may indicate that the front door needs to be closed.
Some problems must be resolved before the system can be armed. Other times,
press
ACKNOWLEDGE
to verify notification of the fault, or press
BYPASS
next to
any device that needs to be bypassed. Then press
CONTINUE
to begin arming the
system.

6. The ARM countdown begins. To cancel arming, press
CANCEL
in the top right
corner of the countdown screen.
Note that due to industry false alarm prevention guidelines, a feature called Auto Stay
ARM may occur in the panel where an ARMed to AWAY may be changed to ARMed to
STAY. This could occur when exiting through an extended delay door such as a garage
door and not opening and closing a entry/exit door in that time frame. Contact your
service provider for more information if any zones are affected by Auto Stay Arming.
Changing Arming Levels
If the system is currently armed, it is possible to change the arming level (up or down),
which results in more or fewer sensors monitored.
1. Press the Padlock button or .

The Disarm and Arm banner buttons appear above the lock (Figure 21).

2. Press
Arm
to change the Arming Options to go up (i.e., from Stay to Away).
3. Enter a user PIN access code.
