To cancel an alarm:

1. Press the padlock icon in the lower-right corner of the screen (Figure 16) and enter a

PIN access code.

on the Alarm Restore screen to view additional details about the alarm.

3. Press

CLOSE

The alarm is now canceled and the system is disarmed.

Note:

If a sensor has initiated multiple alarms in a short period of time, the system

may deactivate that zone for at least 8 hours, since there appears to be a problem.

WARNING

: Do not enter a building during or after an alarm event without consulting

applicable authorized emergency personnel. Even after sirens stop, it may not be
safe to enter the premises.
