LEN sets the DELAY length over a range of 0 – 1240 ms, in 1 ms (Coarse) or 0.01
ms (Fine) steps.
DIST sets the distance in meters over a range of 0 to 430 meters. Delay time in
LEN is computed using DIST and TEMP settings.
TEMP selects the environment temperature over a range of 0 to 50 degrees
Celsius, in 0.5 degree increments, or from 32 to 121 degrees Fahrenheit, in
1 degree increments. The temperature unit of Celsius or Fahrenheit can be
selected in the MODE menu (F5).
DELAY MODE Screen
Pressing the MODE key accesses the DELAY MODE screen, which allows for global setups
for the DELAY module.
In this screen, parameters are selected with the
cursor keys and adjusted with the
parameter wheel. After every change, ENTER appears at the F5 key, and must be
pressed to confirm the change. Default settings can be selected with the F1 ( DEF ) key.
Pressing the F6 ( EXIT ) key returns to the DELAY screen.
Global parameters available in the
DELAY mode screen are:
DIST UNIT selects the unit for distance measurement: METER or FOOT
TEMP UNIT select the unit for environment temperature: CELSIUS or FAHRENHEIT .
The default values are:
METER, CELSIUS.
