MEQ-2000 24/96 Multimode Equalizer
GAIN selects boost or cut value (Notch filter only) over a range of 0 to –24dB in
1dB increments. For manual feedback search, notch filters can also be
adjusted to a positive gain of up to +8dB.
BW or Q selects the filter bandwidth of the active Notch filter. Options are:
Octave : 1/48; 1/24 ; 1/12 ; 1/6 or
Q : 69.3; 34.6; 17.3; 8.65
SLP appears instead of BW or Q when LC or HC is selected in FILT menu. This
selects the shelving slope. Options are OFF, 6, 12, or 18db/octave.
CUT MODE Screen
Pressing the MODE key accesses the CUT MODE screen, which allows for global setups for
the CUT module.
In this screen, parameters are selected with the and cursor keys and adjusted
with the parameter wheel. After every change, ENTER appears at the F5 key, and must
be pressed to confirm the change. Default settings can be selected with the F1 ( DEF )
key. Pressing the F6 ( EXIT ) key returns to the CUT screen.
Global parameters available in the CUT mode screen are:
CH LINK determines the channel coupling status:
OFF selects dual channel mode, with two independent channels.
CH1 → 2 couples the channels with CH1 slaved to CH2 .
CH2 → 1 couples the channels with CH2 slaved to CH1 .
BW UNIT selects the units for bandwidth – Octave or Q.
LC TYPE selects the low-cut filter characteristic: Butterworth or Bessel .
HC TYPE selects the high-cut filter characteristic: Butterworth or Bessel .
Default values are CH1 → 2, OCT, BUTTER, BUTTER.
