but alarms are being

Video on Alarm feature

Enable Video on Alarm
feature (Settings menu
or camera add/edit
window) and enable
AVI generator in the
SmrtHVR.

IP/port forwarding

Ports “8000, 9000”
must be forwarded in
the router to enable
video streaming.

Camera is connected
but alarms and videos
are not showing.

Firewall

Add the SC and
the SmrtHVR to the
computer’s Firewall

There is no live video
output (replaced
by IntelliView logo)
despite the SC
showing the channel
status as green.

VGA driver is not
installed in the
motherboard of the SC

Install the VGA driver
and reboot the OS.

Black screen (data
saving) mode is
enabled, used to
minimize data usage.

Revert to live view
mode by disabling the
Black Screen mode
from the Options menu
on the toolbar.

Videos are not
downloading in the
Archive Viewer

Codec is not installed
or it is a Firewall issue.

Install Xvid codec,
