8.2 Troubleshooting

The following table presents the common issues or malfunctions that may
be experienced when operating the SC, and the actions that can be taken
to resolve these. Should further assistance still be required, please contact
IntelliView..

ISSUE / SYMPTOM

CAUSE

SC software won’t
start.

Licence may have
been corrupted or
accidentally deleted.

Re-apply licence or
contact IntelliView

Camera is not showing
in the Sites & Cameras
panel.

Camera is not added
to the SC or camera

Add the camera to the
SC and ensure correct
information is entered.

Camera is added but
Video is not streaming.

SmrtHVR is offline,
or camera is offline /

disconnected.

Check the status of the
camera in the Sites &
Cameras panel: online/

offline/disconnected.

Ensure the SmrtHVR
is online and the
camera is connected
to the SmrtHVR.

Camera credentials/
info is incorrect.

Check that the info of
the camera added to
the SC is correct (right
click the camera in the
Sites & Cameras panel
