3000 Micro GC Operating Manual

8.4.3 Replacing the 7 Micron Filter in the Heated Regulator

(PN G2818A-X/G2845A/G2857A)

The 7 micron filter assembly uses a replaceable cartridge filter (PN 3150-0786).
See

Turn off any sample flow to 3000 Micro GC.

Turn the relief valve to

Vent

on the Heated Regulator and purge all residual

pressure remaining in the sample line.

Unplug the heated sample conditioner and allow it to cool.

Loosen the screws that secure the Heated Regulator cover in place and
remove the cover.

Remove the 1/16 in. line at the bottom of the filter assembly See

Remove the nut at the bottom of the filter.
