SOUNDER OPERATION

In Sounder mode, the following six screens are available.

q

  If the Plotter screen or the Radar screen appears, hold down [FO-

CUS] for 3 seconds to enter the Screen selection mode.

w

  Rotate [DIAL] to select the “Sounder” screen, then push [ENTER] to 

enter the Sounder screen.

e

  You can select the following six screens, among the Standard screen, 

Dual screen, St Marker Zoom-in screen, St Bottom 
Zoom-in screen, St Bottom Lock and St A-Scope 
screen. And following combination are selectable, St Maker 
Zoom + A-Scope, St Bottom Zoom + A-Scope, St 
Bottom Lock + A-Scope, Dual (St A-Scope), Dual (Standard 
+  Maker  Zoom),  Dual  (Standard  +  Bottom  Zoom),  Dual  (Standard 
+ Bottom Lock), Dual (St Maker Zoom + A-Scope),* Dual 
(Standard  +  Bottom  Zoom  +  A-Scope),*  Dual  (Standard  +  Bottom 
Lock + A-Scope).*

  *These screens cannot be selected on 1/4 screen.

This  screen  shows  an 
image  of  underwater 
that  is  detected  at  ei-
ther of a high (H) or low

Bottom Zoom-in screen

This  screen  con-

tom  zoom  screen. 
The  zoomed  area  is 
the bottom.

Dual screen

This screen shows two 
images  of  underwater 
that  are  detected  at 
both of a high (H) and 
low (L) frequencies.

Bottom Lock screen

sists  of  the  Standard 
screen  and  the  Bot-
tom lock screen.
The  zoomed  area 
is  the  bottom  and 
it  is  displayed  as  a 
straight line.

Marker Zoom-in screen

This  function  provides 
a 

zoom-in 

display 

around  the  variable 
range  marker  for  de-
tailed  observation  of 
underwater 

activity 

such as fish schools.
The  zoomed  area  is 
adjustable  by  rotating 
[DIAL].

St A-Scope screen

This  screen  con-
sists  of  the  Standard 
screen  and  the  A-
Scope screen.
