Interpreting power supply LEDs

Use the following table to interpret the LEDs on your system power supplies.

Table 14. Power supply LED descriptions

Amber

The AC power source is good and is powering the system.

Off

There is AC power present, but the power supply is not
operational.

Flashing

There is AC power present, but the power supply is not enabled.

Off

There is no power to this power supply.

Monitoring the fans

To monitor the fans, check the console error messages and look at the Status LED
on each fan module. .
