Do one of the following:
– If the failure occurred
immediately after installing or removing an option,
and you have not yet updated the configuration, see “Updating the
computer configuration” on page 83.
– If the computer was functioning correctly after installing an option and is
now malfunctioning, have the computer serviced.
– If the failure occurred immediately after making a change to the
Configuration/Setup Utility program, do the following:
1. At the POST Startup Errors screen, select Continue and press Enter.
The Configuration/Setup Utility menu appears on the screen. You will
see a pointer (

) next to any menu items for components that are
malfunctioning or that have been changed since the last time you
turned on your computer.
2. Select the menu item that is flagged (or that you wish to view) by
pressing Up Arrow (
↑
) or Down Arrow (
↓
), and then press Enter.
3. A new menu specific to the item that you selected appears. Press
Left Arrow (
←
) or Right Arrow (
→
) to toggle between choices for a
menu item. (Note that each menu item has a Help screen. To view
