5. Slide the drive toward the rear of the computer and remove it from the
bay.
6. To reinstall the drive, reverse this procedure.
Removing a drive from bay 4
To remove the hard disk drive from bay 4:
1. Move the power supply aside to gain access to the drive mounting clips.
See “Moving the power supply” on page 61.
2. Locate the blue retaining clips on each side of the drive. The clip
located closest to the system board is difficult to see.
3. Squeeze both blue retaining clips toward the drive; then, pivot the top of
the drive toward the rear of the computer about 12.5 mm (0.5 in.).
