11.3 Pressure regulator: inspect valve insert
and strainer
CAUTION!
Risk of injury due to compression spring jumping out.
Ensure that the compression spring is released.

Close ball cocks on inlet and outlet sides.

Depressurise pressure regulator:
Unscrew sealing plug and screw in again hand
tight.

Release compression spring:
Turn adjustment handle counterclockwise (-) as
far as it will go.

Unscrew spring cover with suitable wrench.

Remove sliding ring.

Pull out the valve insert off the housing with
the help of pliers.

• Check sealing disc, nozzle and groove
ring for proper condition
• Replace valve insert, if required
8 • Push back valve insert into the housing
• reattach sliding ring
• Screw on spring cover
