5.2.2 Ultrasound unit / mounting/connecting the vibrator

(optional)

This chapter contains information on the installation and connec-

tion of the ultrasound generator and the ultrasonic vibrator.

1. Place the ultrasound generator in the switch cabinet at the

bottom let in the corner.

2. Connect the electric cable according to the following repre-

sentation.

The components are connected and operational.

5.3 Suctioning the machine room

The back of the extraction unit has a suction connection of

Ø 100 mm for the machine room.

For this, follow the safety data sheet of the test liquid being used.

It is advisable to suction the machine room if:

– the chemical composition of the test liquid used specifies it

– there is no ventilation and/or air conditioning in the operating

room of the CTU

– an easily volatile test liquid is used

Details on this can be found in the

safety data sheet

of the test liq-

uid.
