The safety data sheet is a document for

communicating safety-related informa-

tion on substances and mixtures, includ-

ing information from the relevant chemi-

cal safety report(s), across the supply

chain to the downstream user. This is in-

tended to provide the user with the nec-

essary data and handling recommenda-

tions when handling substances and

mixtures in order to be able to take the

necessary measures for health protec-

tion, safety at work and protection of the

environment.

It defines: the extraction process, the

analysis process and the documentation
