Resetting the Shade (If Necessary)
Basic Reset
The basic reset is used to reset the shade’s travel limits. This procedure will also reset the
♥
FAVORITE position to its default (shade closed halfway).
1. Press and hold the manual control button for 6 seconds. The shade will move slightly.
2. Release the manual control button. The shade will move to its fully open position to set the
OPEN travel limit, then move to the fully closed position to set the CLOSE travel limit. The
shade will move slightly one more time to indicate that the travel limits have been reset.
Resetting Shade Programming
This reset erases all shade programming from memory, including group assignments, preventing
any input device from operating the shade. Its primary use is during installation to correct group
and network assignments. This reset does not affect travel limits.
1. Press and hold the manual control button for 12 seconds. The shade will move slightly once
after 6 seconds, then again after 12 seconds. Release the button.
2. Refer to “Joining a Shade to a Group” on page 16 to program the shade to a group.
Adjustments
Adjust/Shorten Fabric Panel Length
CAUTION:
Some units may not be able to reuse the plastic adhesive strip mentioned in this
process. If the strip will not stick in the new location, contact your Hunter Douglas dealer for a
replacement.

Measure and record the amount you want to shorten on a panel. Refer to this information
for any remaining panels you want to shorten.

If the bottom weights were connected together, disconnect them.
■
Carefully remove the panel by releasing the fabric hanger from the carriers. See “Remove
the Panels” on page 53.
■
Place the panel on a clean, flat working surface. If it is not possible to spread the panel out
flat, then carefully roll the panel up around the hanger (or preferably the shipping core), so
that the bottom weight is accessible.
■
Use a small flat-blade screwdriver
to remove the end cap pin in the
bottom weight.
