Round
According to this policy, plexes in the volume satisfy read requests to the volume in
turn. This policy is suitable for a volume in which all plexes are of the similar performance.
This policy can utilize load balancing, thus effectively enhancing the read performance of
the volume.

Select
According to this policy, the system automatically chooses the suitable policy. For
example, when the volume only has one associated plex, the system chooses prefer. In most
other cases, the system usually chooses round.

Prefer
According to this policy, the plex with higher performance satisfies read requests
first. If the plex is faulty, the other plex is accessed. If one of the two plexes has rather low
performance, you are recommended to choose this policy to avoid degradation on the system
performance.
Procedure
Step 1
In the navigation tree, click the
Logical
tab.
Step 2
In the navigation tree, select the
Volume
node.
Step 3
Select the mirror volume whose read policy is to be modified.
Step 4
Select a suitable read policy
